Euro Profile Mortise Lock
- Are You Curious About the High-Standard Euro profile Mortise Lock?
At RETICLE, you can find European mortise locks in various sizes. These security locks are CE certified and meet high security and fire resistance standards. When used with a key, the lock cylinder activates both the latch and deadbolt to lock the door.
Longer deadbolts provide greater security; in the event of strong external force attempting to break into the door, the deadbolt will effectively prevent the lock from being damaged.
It’s worth noting that we will sincerely pair each of your mortise locks with European-style lock cylinders and keys, making the purchase process more convenient.
Of course, the level of security offered by mortise locks varies depending on their price range. Even if you want the most affordable mortise lock, our locks still provide reliable security.
You need to measure the horizontal distance A and the vertical distance B between the lock body and the door. Use a screwdriver to remove the fixing screws on the door, then find a new mortise lock, insert it into the door, align the screw holes, and then tighten the screws.

Mortise locks feature a robust lock case and durable latches/deadbolts. As a lock body type, mortise locks are difficult to break. When used in conjunction with European-style lock cylinders, they can provide optimal security.
Mortise locks and rim locks differ in their installation method and structure. Mortise locks are primarily installed on the inside of the door using fixing screws, and they are less prone to damage, resulting in a longer lifespan. Therefore, mortise locks are superior.
1. Internal components are misaligned;
2. The latch is stuck or has difficulty retracting;
3. Some internal mechanical parts or devices are worn or aged.
When using screws to secure the door, ensure it is firmly installed. Secondly, after cleaning the lock, wipe it clean with a cloth and then apply a few drops of lubricant to lubricate the lock. Finally, ensure the door lock functions properly; if it does not, replace the internal lock promptly.
