- How to Install a Wooden Door Hinge
Prepare the installation tools and 2-3 door hinges you need.
Step 1 Mark the installation locations on door: You need to use a pencil to mark three locations first , the top, the middle（If you only need to install two hinges, you don’t need to mark the middle position.）, and the bottom on door , and make sure that the three hinge positions are vertically aligned in a line.
Step 2 Mark Position for Frame :You need to use a level to determine the location of the hinges on the door frame.
Step 3 Fix Hinge on Door :You need two people to work together on it. One person holds the hinge and aligns it with the screw holes, while the other person uses a screwdriver to tighten the screws, ensuring that the installation is secure and not easily loosened.
Step 4 Fix Hinge on Frame :You need to align the hinges with the door frame and then tighten the screws on the door frame.
Step 5 Test the Door: After tightening all the screws, you can open and close the door to check if it works smoothly.
